Hey, look at this! A shiny new Diablo III forum!

With the beta upcoming, now's as good a time as ever to start up with the Diablo III forums. For now, we'll have a General Discussion forum and see how things evolve from there.

If you're interesting in becoming a moderator for this forum, please let me know. Moderation is 95% removing spam / banning spambots, and 5% locking useless threads.

But that never happens around here, right? Lurkers never post useless threads!

Saw a quick snippet on a news summary that Diablo 3 will embrace people selling in game items for real world money.

I guess Blizz realizes that if you can't lick 'em, join 'em.

I mean ... why should Chinese gold farmers make all the dough? Huh

Virtual items for real cash is gonna happen whether Blizz likes it or not, so I agree.

I, for one, am really looking forward to see how Blizzard is going to handle the legal issues of virtual items being demonstrably worth real cash. Inevitably there are going to be loot/trade issues where people are going to claim they got shafted out of gear, and now they can prove real monetary losses.

Say hi to Zarathustra, the D3 board moderator!

I, for one, welcome our new Nietzschean (not really a word, sue me) overlord.

Considering it's a Blizzard game, shouldn't it be "Pwned"? Big Grin

"Schooled" would also work since since we are talking about vocabulary after all... Tongue

It's good to see you finally decided to make the forum! It will be good to have a place to discuss Diablo III with ever so slightly more maturity.

I'll try and keep this place from getting too mature.
