Watch the video. It's quite possibly the funniest 5 minutes of advertising I have seen in a while, but not because it was intended to be funny.

I wish I could laugh. Sadly, I know someone who has been using this...

So I have to be perfectly honest -- I didn't find it funny (although the ads are a little cheesy). As a nonsmoker and notorious hater of secondhand smoke this looks like a great product.

I laughed a lot based on the 'cheese' factor of the ad. Then, I looked at the price of the product, and couldn't believe that they were charging 150 bucks for the unit.

Do the math. This saves you money over time (unless they are lying).

Yeah, I'm with vor here. Aimee still smokes and I really do hate it. If I could get her at least into this - since shes rather resistant to my less than subtle hints she should quit - she woudln't be killing me at the same time. Again, that is assuming they aren't lying.

I remember stumbling across this a few months ago when someone mentioned it in a "hot deal" forum. I had never heard of an e-cig so I was a little intrigued and just read a little.

He seemed to like it alright. Probably the flavor isn't as good as the exotic ones, but at 1/10th the cost you can almost afford to just try it for the sake of seeing what it's like.

There are some real world usage opinions in this thread. There is some noise to sift through too, but last time I read it it seemed to at least have some useful info about e-cigs:

Terenas WoW player... while we waited for Diablo III.
And it came... and it went... and I played Hearthstone longer than Diablo III.

What next, electronic black lung?
I am seven weeks into quitting, for the umpteenth time.

Sigh.

Hope it lasts. That item I don't see in my future, in any event.

I just celebrated my 20th anniversary of being a smoker. I haven't tried to quit even once, because I know I'd fail miserably.

Sigh.
