im new to the forums, hey all
disregard the topic, doesnt mean anything. would anyone in here recommend buying hellfire?

If you want a solid multiplayer experience: No. Hellfire multiplayer isn't as bad as, say, Baldur's Gate multiplayer, but it's still a pain in the ass.
If you play a lot of solo: Yes. The three new classes are probably the main draw. The storyline is garbage and the new areas don't have the same Gothic feel as D1's areas, but they're not necessary.
A fair warning: Hellfire has a LOT of really, really sucky bugs/features that make it darn near unplayable/unenjoyable. Some mods (e.g. The Dark) remove many annoying features, though, so you're not completely stuck.

Mods are modifications of the game to make playing harder, more interesting.
It has been said that The Dark is one of the best mods around, which makes bying Hellfire worth it. And I wouldn't want to argue that :D
