Do mercs gain more exp if they personally make the kill?

Yes, I believe it si 3X or 5X that amount if you or a minion of yours makes the kill.

I don't have the merc exp forumulas available at the moment so I can't double check. There are a few other goofy things with their exp and caps (L24 is a breakpoint in the exp formula iirc).
