I had no room in my back pack so I tossed it into my cube... When I spoke with Akara she translated it as always, but when I went to get it, it was not there. Had to quit the game and go get another.

yeah, it's a bug. In norm you wouldnt have the cube to do that quest, but in nm and hell, she will nick it if you put it in the cube ;)
