Is this the best sword?

Allthough i havent created it, theoreticaly you could make an eth cruel colousus blade of ages. Then soc it with a jah and 2 ohms. if the cruel ed was 300, add 100 from the ohms, and you'd have 400 ed eth colousus sword that ignores target def. What do you lot think? best sword posible in patch 1.09?

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

Yeah, that's pretty good. hehe

Of course, one could use up all 3 sockets with Ohm's if s/he considered the attack rating was good enough. Does Ignore Target's Defense work on bosses btw?

Anyway, I wonder if I would choose a Legend Sword or something instead. They deal less damage, but is much faster. (pretty much all elite base items are as good as any other in the same item class, just more damage with less speed or vice versa)

For comparison:

Legend Sword: speed -15, 72 avg damage
Colossus Blade: speed +5 (ugh), 86.5 avg damage

*checking further*

Heey, what about this?

Balrog Blade: speed 0, 86.5 avg damage!

This means Balrog Blades are better than Colossus Blades regarding average damage over time?

Cubing something - removes ethereal
Balrog Blades can't be 3 chip recipe'd to cruel
Jah does not work on bosses, superuniques, champion class enemies (champions, ghostly, etc.), or players.
Chaos < Logic > Order
One who knows the enemy and knows himself will not be in danger in a hundred battles.
One who does not know the enemy but knows himself will sometimes win, sometimes lose.
One who does not know the enemy and does not know himself will be in danger in every battle.

Duh, totally forgot about ethereal :)

But why can't Balrog Blades be cubed to cruel?

May the wind pick up your heels and your sword strike true.

Doh, my plan has been foiled again :P

Balrog blades are better in some ways, but in some cases damage is better than speed.

It's not the best sword possible in all cases, by far. For example, a Werebear trying to use that would probably have 2x frames per attack. Just a bit slow. ;) For a Wereform, I'd have to go for something like eth cruel colousus blade of quickness socketed with 3 shael runes. That weapon should hit about 6 frames (with a small bit of OIAS) on a Werebear as well as a 7/4/4/4/4 Fury on a Werewolf. :)

@TheDragoon:
Pfft, n00b, no one plays Druids. :D

(but on a more serious note, you can't get a 3 socketed ethereal Cruel Sword; as was mentioned, the cubing removes the ethereal property)
USEAST: Werewolf (94), Werebear (87), Hunter (85), Artimentalist (78), Meleementalist (76, ret.)
USEAST HCL: Huntermentalist (72), Werewolf (27)
Single Player HC: Werewolf (61, deceased), Werewolf (24)
