After buying d2 classic and i played it for a few weaks I desided to get lod. lod didnt work because there was not enough memory. I unistalled lod and reinstalled d2 classic
tofind an error message came up in the middle of the installation saying "setup cannot read a required data file. your diablo2 cd may not be in the cdrom drive please ensure that the disc is in the cdrom drive amd press retry. to cancel installation. press cancel.
"d2.data.mpq
Error 0x0000001f:a device attached to the system is not functioning
(safesf:cpp:67)"
So i pressed retry and the same message cam up so i pressed cancel.
A new mesage cam up saying " Setup was unable to copy the following file.
d2data.mpq

CD:\d2\tools\source\diskundo.

installation aborted.
Can anyone please help??
