Abysmal MOD, meant for SP or MP?

I have recently downloaded the Abysmal MOD and I was wondering if it was meant for SP or MP play. If you could give me a few pointers it would be appreciated.

Assume all mods are designed for multiplayer unless they specify otherwise. But, bar none, the best way to get information about a mod is to read the mod's documentation.
