My last hope to play diablo once again?

I pulled out my old diablo disk and blew the dust off it. Right now my goal is to be able to LAN a game of diablo over my 2 PC's with a friend of mine.

I have tried just about everything in the book to do this with 2 windows XP machines. Setting up IPX with XP seems easy. But client diablo does not find the host.

I'm at a total loss and have tried just about everything.

Can anyone suggest an idea of how i can play my old time favorite game once more?

It's not a perfect solution but you can play through the battle.net ;)

I can't connect 2 PC's to battle.net sharing one ip...


Actually. I can't even connect to bnet right now.. not sure why..
