Not at all. Doing what you do, the recruiting in the name of a "cause," is attempting to mass players and sort them out afterwards. There's no way to create a community. If you want a community, you need to create ties between players. Start by making friends, not by running a metal detector over them.

Your idle speculation is completely out of place on this board. This community is a community of some damn fine Diablo gamers, and from years of knowing these folks I know that they know what they're talking about.
