Considering Trans-Siberian Orchestra seems to basically only do Christmas albums (5 Christmas-themed CDs and 1 Beethoven CD), they're actually halfway decent. I really like that "Wizards in Winter" song and I just listened to The Lost Christmas Eve all the way through without a complaint. Good stuff.
They're coming to my area on tour in early December too... it may be worth picking up some tickets and taking a lady-friend. It might score me some points.
That person did an awesome job with the lights on their house. Truly stellar work.

I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
