A small hint, though: Find a (rather uncrowded) place in Azeroth where you have 4 to 5 Rich Thorium Vein "spawning points" within a rather small area. Park your miner there, login every 30-45 minutes, and then ride closely along these points. One of them should spawn a new vein as you get close enough.
