WotF does not break Polymorph. Or prevent it. Plus, the current change does not really change much in PvP. People will still break out of fear reactively most of the time, so changing the time does not change much. Expect the whining to continue, especially considering that it was Undead ROGUES that people were complaining about, and with the PvP trinket and even nerfed WotF they will still kill pretty much any fear-dependant class.
But this change does make it fairly useless in most PvE situations now, where alliance has quite a leg up already. For example, during Onyxia, an Undead tank would have 20 seconds of trying to get aggro on Onyxia and get position right instead of worrying about fear. Now that it's 5 seconds, it pretty worthless. Meanwhile, a dwarf priest can simply keep Fear Ward up on a tank, making this transition period so much easier for Alliance. And that's not the only fight where WotF will become either useless or pretty close to it.
On the other hand, Stoneskin is one of the most underrated abilities. If a hunter insists on keeping Viper Sting on you, pop Stoneskin and no more pesky mana drain. A lot of people do not realize that you can cancel it. If a rogue has crippling poison on you, quickly turn Stoneskin on and off and voila, no more snare. Blind? Not with Stoneskin on! Etc.
