I was surprised to find my account still there with all the equipment I had acquired, including the gold that I still had in the account. I had heard that they deleted accounts and/or gold and equipment when they had not been used for quite a while. The games were actually pretty good too, both my ability after so much down time and the players. Maybe things have gotten better regarding the Gunbound community.
