Every character can have one.
Quote:2.) Can you change pets on one character, or do you have to make a final binding choice? It is a final choice that is soulbound to your character.
Quote:3.) ... Or are these extra pets just for fun without any use?'Fun' without any real use. They will cause you to get semi-frequent whispers from players asking where you got that pet from though. Also do not use one while doing any stealthy actions in the game as the pet itself does not selth and is a dead giveaway as to where you are. I have seen several rogues trying to sneak around that have a non-combat pet out that is dead give away of where they are at.
Quote:4.) Can the in-game pets die (from monster attacks)? And if, how do you resurrect them? No, they do don't die from monster attacks, but do go away if you die. These types of pets are summoned/dismissed from an item you have in your inventory. So it is fairly simple to bring it out if it despawns for any reason (like lagging too far behind when you run somewhere).
The CE comes with three in-game pets (Lil'Diablo, Zergling and Panda).
Lil'Diablo is considered the 'coolest' of the 3 by most players and even has a fire-breathing animation that it does occasionly.
Zergling is... well its there, nuff said.
Panda is the 'cutest' of the 3 and to some what they would prefer over having the diablo.
So, if you go this route, try the zergling out on a character that you do not really expect to play much or would have strong reasons not to have a position giveaway non-combat pet out.
