Skelemancer Help With Diablo
#3
Diablo is much harder than other bosses in normal. My suggested solution? While getting to a higher level will definitely be a plus, and as Ruvanal suggested, adding to SM will also help, you're never going to have an "easy" time with Diablo in normal, even if you are in the thirties. I would suggest that you've simply got to get a bit better at avoiding his attacks and perhaps make a few trips back and forth from the sanctuary to the blood moor in act one to restock your skeleton corps. It seems cheap, but following D in normal, it won't be necessary anymore.

When I took him on in normal with my hardcore skelemancer, I was at least five levels higher than you and my skellies were still dropping like flies. If you can get decrep and CG on him, he should be a lot easier, but I found that he was still consistently killing off at least half of my skellies before CG kicked in and, at such a reduced number, they had a much harder time making a serious dent in his life.

That being said, it only took me three trips to the blood moor to kill him, and I didn't die, so level up a bit first and see what happens.
But whate'er I be,
Nor I, nor any man that is,
With nothing shall be pleased till he be eased
With being nothing.
