Diablo as Freeware/Hard Drive Patch

I've actually been unable to get Diablo running off of my hard drive, despite numerous attempts. If someone could contact me through PM's (I assume that's not something to be discussed publicly, here) I'd appreciate it.

I thought you just needed a modified Storm.dll? Almost every mod for D1 has the ability to play off the hard drive. You might want to check some of them out.
