To go above level ~25, you'll need multiplayer - but you can make a multiplayer character, choose tcp/ip, and just play on your own.

Going from single player to multiplayer is like moving up from Duplo to Lego when you were a kid. The game is harder, but also more rewarding, and you can replay levels and go up to the higher difficulties.

Nothing is impossible if you believe in it enough.
