I haven't seen any indications of system requirements. I did, however, find videos of Robin Williams playing Spore (did that qualify as a proper segue? :) ):

He seems quite knowledgeable about games.
My guess is that the Spore system requirements shouldn't be *too* high since the graphics, while serviceable, are hardly out of control. Raw computer processing power might be an issue with all the different layers of detail going on simultaneously.
