"I got better!"

At least they didn't turn it in to a newt.
All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.

And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.

"Isn't this where...."

Maybe the witch caused a mysterious cold front to move through?

Shrinky dinkage.

Speaking of cold... Good Lord it got cold last night. Low 30s! Brrrrrr!

Yeah... it was a nice 60-70 here for a while, then all of a sudden it's now 30-40. Maybe one of those hurricanes sent a front our way or something. Either way, I'm sad that my perfect temperatures are gone :(

Quote:The Osun state police commissioner said that they have since arrested two persons including the man who raised the false alarm about disappearing genitals.

Well, someone fails at life here. I wish for their genitals to actualy disappear.

Really, just plain horrible. That's the worst excuse for murder ever.

Quote:"The lucky ones include a woman who was rescued after a mob put a tyre around her neck and was about to set her ablaze. "

This procedure, is rather popular in Haiti and reached a Zenith during Aristide's days. Also common in a couple of the West African countries when order broke down: Liberia, Sierra Leone. Not sure who was copying whom, if anyone was. If you look into anarchy failed states fall into, necklacing appears to have caught on as a popular form of peer sanction.

I do not see that as any sort of improvement in how the world works, thanks CNN. :( :(

Was wondering about this as well. Seems kind of strange that a lot of people would believe it, and that no one made sure, but the world does work in some wierd ways.

That's not what I meant. I read a topic title of "Disappearing Genitalia" so I instinctively perfromed a quick check to ensure that mine was still there.

I was kinda afraid that there was an epidemic :(

Don't worry Dee, I understood.

And yep, they're still down there.

Wave your arms and shout.

*grins* Seems to be a universal reflex, to just make sure. :P

One day at the lake, with another mother, we were letting our three toddler boys frolic in the nude at the waterfront. A snapping turtle cruised by.

"Mommy, what do they eat?" .... As all three simultaneously clasped their own dangling parts and scampered back to shore.
