Was playing on my main character the other evening and me and some of my friends were running through Scarlet Monestary. Well, being the tank, at times... you die...
But when I released my spirit I was quite shocked that it tried to teleport me to battlegrounds! I wasn't even waiting for BGs... Well, then the game totally freaked out on me and crashed... Wasn't able to sign back onto my account for another 2-3 minutes and found myself standing in Ashenvale... >.<
After flying all the way back and trying to enter the instance once more, I am to discover that lo and behold, the instance server has crashed and I'm hearthed all the way back to Booty Bay... >.< Apparantly I wasn't supposed to run SM that evening...

Once I died in Dun Morough. Instead of the ghost form, I got a loading screen and reappeared (alive) at the Alterac battlegrounds entrance. Good thing I had my hearthstone ready!

Dunno about the rest of it, but the issue with warping to the battlegrounds has something to do with if you hearthstone directly out of the battleground. If you do this, then (sometimes?) when you die, you'll find your spirit back at the battleground spirit healer. It's good to /afk out first before hearthstoning out.

I have never been to any of the BG's , they hold zero interest for me . My post further down says how when dieing in Frostmane hold 3 times , 3 times I ended up at Alterac BG :P at lvl 8 , some kind lvl 60 escorted me to southshore . If you enter Frostmane hold though you will see it come up has Winterax hold Alterac valley ??
