Well.. I have just registered to this messageboard.. And on previous messageboards I have been a part of, It is generally routine to make a post to introduce yourself, I apologize if that is not a practice accepted here.
I'v been playing Diablo II since the end of the 1.08 LOD patch, Actually 3 days before 1.09 final was released, but I have been on battle.net for several years before that, playing Warcraft II mostly, under the name CowWithHerpes.
I listed my accounts in that box when I registered, but I am not sure where or if they show up, so my accounts are ~Lord``CoW~ CowWithHerpes and rEnIeW. all on UsWest. Message me sometime if you need assistance =)
I don't really want to bore anyone with my long sad history of gaming, so I will leave it at this.

Welcome to the Lurkerlounge. As you'll read more posts and threads, you'll come to the realisation that this board is unlike any other. You mentioned one example; if everyone who registered were to post a "Hi, I'm new here"-thread, we'd be swamped with them during the next few weeks, especially now when the World of Warcraft-forum is up.

In my favor is the fact that I bought the Matching Tie and Handkercheif album when it came out, 1974 IIRC, and have been singing that song from memory for ages. The Internet is what taught me how many words I got wrong.
