Generic Lurker Lounge thread

Prepares legal brief for initial hearing. Includes terms "contributory negligence," "wilful self injury," and "can't read the fine print on the object that warns against swallowing, you silly goose."

Realizes that the kangaroos on the court will find Doc's kilt more interesting than my suit. Commences kilt purchasing process. Finds that at £295.00 per kilt, better to buy the tie (£10.72) with the Mcleod tartan --since I already have a suit --than the kilt. (I don't have the legs for it anyway. :P )

Awaits hearing. Plays golf with the local circuit court judge in preparation for case. ;)

Old favourite thread revived, using a leftover res scroll from some old Diablo game.

Sits back in quiet bemusement that an old thread is now fogging a mirror again.

Quick wave and a nod to DeeBye.

All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.

And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.

In hushed tones informs Occhi that for many men of his age, their haikus fall flat. They make a pill for that now.

Subtle warning of four hour prose.

Not sure, I feel it was too vague. Can you give a less descriptive answer? I feel you just posted a generic premade answer not on topic here! Perhaps Bolty can clarify with some good metaphor about pegs.

PS! Has anyone ever tried the "guided mode"? Never noticed it before.

Reminder to other posters that Griselda and Bolty's views on forum moderation match and that trying to convince one or the other that the other moderator is being too harsh/too lenient is useless.

Also, strange reference to square pegs in round holes.

Wiseacre comment that the thread's progression is risible, and of concern only to risus monkey's. ;)

Bah, that was a completely off topic post I would say, see first post for reference:P

30+ years-old reference that goes over the heads of 80% of forum population who only knows Jagger as the cop dude from Freejack and Keith Richards as a pirate pretending to be Johnny Depp (or something somesuch).

refers to the unthinking way most people name 'monkey' when they actually mean 'primate'

confuses everyone by being the last poster still using linear mode due to its 1337ness

adds a self-advertising link to a page completely useless to everyone because of being written in some ancient language

adds a postscriptum about soccer being the most unattractive game ever

added an edit for the sake of completeness and to show that preview mode is actually something for n00bs

Hmm, wonder what is wrong with my appearant linear mode since it is actually something else based on the above.... I guess one can picture it as non treaed in ones head perhaps? Perhaps Bolty can explain why you are the last of an almost extinct spiecis using linear, or if there is linear lurkers pretending to use something else while in fact sneak peeking in linear mode.

Gapes in wonder that someone else actually watched Freejack.

Notes that "they are more like guidelines" is a throw away line first used by Keith Richard in a drug case in Toronto.
