I think it went
"Bum, ba da da
dum, da da da,
dum, da da da,
dum, da da da"
and somewhere had the lyrics "I want to fly" "sky" and something else in it.
I just heard it in a commercial, and I'm pretty sure it's the song running in the background of the "Grey's Anatomy" commercials on ABC. Anyone know the song?
EDIT: Not the postal service. I think it's sung by female leads, and has a sort of tropical beat.

Sorry, not even close.
The female track was actually vocalizing "bum, ba da da dum".
I get the feeling it may be a track from PSAPP, which has a lot of stuff for grey's anatormy, but I can't tell from the short sampletracks on iTunes.
*keeps digging*

Hi,

You could try The Song Tapper. On that site, you can tap the rhythm of a song with the spacebar, and it will give out a list of songs that it thinks match the rhythm. It currently has a database of over 10000 songs I believe.
Sounds strange, and I haven't tried it yet, but who knows? Maybe it works. :)

Hehe,
That thing was actually made by some guys at my school - I'm pretty sure that I've dealt with one of them re: a computing account. Cool.

Nor I, nor any man that is,
With nothing shall be pleased till he be eased
With being nothing.

Well if it's the song I'm thinking of, those words (or reasonable facsimiles) are actually spoken.

It's that song that goes:
"Bum, ba da da
dum, da da da,
dum, da da da,
dum, da da da" ...
If I knew the name, I would have mentioned it...
