Super Unique piggyback bug

I killed Witchdoctor Endugu last night with my ladder assassin, and the flayer that spawned was also named Witchdoctor Endugu. I guess it's a nice way to get double drops. Maybe it's a feature, not a bug.

I haven't been in act5 yet, does this still happen with Thresh Socket?

That's a feature, I remember it being mentioned in the patch changes.

Blizz probably didn't think about the super uniques with this feature though, and the monster spawned doesn't seem to get the super unique's properties (at least not hp increase).


Note: SplEndDeath in monstats.txt controls this.

I ran into Thresh Socket outside the entrance to the Crystalline Passage last night. That seemed odd to me at the time, but I didn't think much of it until I saw your post. I don't remember anything in particular about the quality of his (second?) drop.
