LLD = Low Level Dueling (level 29 in this case)
Quote:Why of course! +12 max damage (lev req:9) and +9 max dam 15% enh dam (lev req:9) were mass duped. At least in Europe. Then again, we did not have wex charms, so it's all for the better I guess.
I dont beleive those jewels were mass duped on west, as I almost never see them...

Thanks for the acronym def, and just because you did not see them does not mean they were not duped. It's a big realm. :D

Well, the potential for duping them was certainly there... At least on USEast, I have heard of 20%ED +9 max damage jewels going for a Stormshield... (In 1.09)
Perhaps they were not massively duped, but you can never be too sure.

Well, its just that I held a 29 dueling tournament in july, bugged items were such a problem that I had to make a rule that I inspect the winners account before I give them their prize, both first and second place had nothing I even suspected to be duped... I have screenshots of all their gear still... there are two directories...

Now, there were man 15 max jewels, however... I have found like 30 of those myself, I cant imagine anyone would dupe them. 20/9 jewels could be duped. but not enough to be a problem... they are so rare anyways, that even if someone had one or two duped ones, its not the same as wearing 6 or 7 - 40/15 jewels.
-- I would also like to point out, that any every and any item has the same chance to be duped as a 20/9 jewel. Disallowing it just because it "could be duped" adding the fact they are not common (on uswest) is obsurd, it would be like not allowing stormshield or shako... just because they are good items, they must be duped...
Heh, I don't see the bow in there for Loveless, although I only looked at half, that's like 40mb total.

My question is why not hold your tournament in ladder games? That would significantly reduce the fear of the possible use bugged or duped items.
