I was wondering if there were anyone who could help me with some Japanenese. Mine is a bit off, considering I don't know a single word (or letter for that matter.)
The japanese text can be found on the following pictures. They are sketches from the upcoming stealth 'em up Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake eater.

I'm a bit curious as to what the content of these pictures are, so even if you don't speak Japanese, feel free to throw in your opinion on what the images might illustrate. One of them certainly reminds me of Sniper Wolf, another one of Frank Jaegar.

As close to a literal translation as I could, except for places where such a translation would simply be too long and unfitting.
Sketch 1
Turns around
---
Single punch
"Sh*t!"
--
Bullet(?) punch at drum can
--
Smoke shooting from the drum
--
Crush the drum
*add spark, smoke, etc freely
Sketch 2
Double punch at drum
*Bullet explosion [I can only guess this is the name of the "move"]
*Sound of drum being crushed*
--
Drum bounces upward and out of frame
--
Smoke rises from knuckles
Sketch 3
Sharp turn apporaches!
--
From looking at the tank...
--
... turns forward and notices the turn.
"Uh-oh!" [A more fitting translation here would be damn, sh*t, or crap]
--
Surprised; looks forward
--
Sudden break! [Finding the right word is hard..]
Pulls lever tightly
Sketch 4
"...The boss is at that lake."
--
"Huh?"
"She is there."
--
"Waiting for you..."
--
"Waiting for me?"
--
Gets out of the sidecar

Using such a translation method would be near impossible since you'd need to be able to read the Japanese text to type them into the text-boxes. If you can read all of it, then you should at least understand some of it already. ;)

Well, just doing first year *Chinese*, and all I can tell you is that the first one has the character for female in it, and the second one has the character for 100 in it.
Hope that helps :D

Hi,
I will look them over when I have some more time tomorrow, but from a quick look at number 4, I'd say that YZilla is right on the money.
I'll get back to you tomorrow...First have to recover from a Rock'n'Roll-weekend ;-)
Take care,

So, I had some time to look it all over, and have nothing to add to YZilla's translation. Good job!

Thanks a bunch, everyone! The text wasn't as illuminating as I had hoped, but I did get *some* clues.
Appreciate it!
