We host several of today's most popular Diablo II mods, as well as realms for the original Diablo II versions 1.09 and 1.10. We also support the latest patches of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne Expansion, Starcraft, and Brood War. TIGS is a brand-new, ongoing project that will pick up where other servers left off - it will soon support Westwood games (Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge), and some day even the entire Unreal/Unreal Tournament series! TIGS is a public realm, which means we allow you to openly create an account under agreement with our Terms of Service, which can be found on our main website, tigs.lortrader.com. We currently have well over 2000 users, and at any given time we have between 20 and 50 other users online. Also, we have several server managers that are available to assist you with any problems you may have.

HOW TO CONNECT:
- Download the registry setting for the TIGS realm at http://tigs.lortrader.com/TIGS.reg
- Run this file (merge it with the registry), and click YES when it asks for confirmation
- Open any Blizzard game and start playing on the TIGS realm!
Alternately, you can download Battle.Net Gateway Editor and edit your realm list manually.
The main download link is unstable and will not be provided, just do a Google search.

One of the biggest problems with most free services is server bandwith and, consequently, lag. However, the new servers provide the ability to share this bandwith load amongst sever users (game server hosts) with minimal bandwith usage on any one person. This distribution of server load is similar to the popular file sharing application, BitTorrent.
Because the game server bandwith usage is low, it is usually hardly noticeable on most broadband connections. If you are looking for statistics, it takes approximately 1 kb of bandwidth per second for every user on your server.
If you would like to help us out to make this public realm a possiblity, please read the following system requirements to see if you meet them:
- 633 MHz Processor (933 and up preferred)
- 256 MB RAM (512 and up preferred)
- 2 GB Hard Disk space (all Diablo II DLLs and MPQs must be copied to a separate folder for the game server)
- Cable/DSL or better broadband Internet connection with a minimum 512Kbps downstream (1Mpbs and up preferred), minimum 256Kbps upstream (512Kbps and up preferred)
- Computer must be left running 24 hours a day, except for special circumstances where it needs to be shut off (repair, etc.).
If you meet the requirements and are willing to host a server for us, leave a post below with the following information:
- Computer speed, RAM
- Internet connection type (cable, DSL, etc.), speed (up/down)
- E-Mail address
- Instant Messenger name/service (AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ) (optional)
- Time that is best for you to contact and set up the server.
