Portal Shrines In D2 Classic

Do they ever appear in Classic with patch 1.10? My Classic characters on Realms haven't been seeing any.

Yeah, they do. Can't provide any screen shots, or evidence or anything, but I did see them, way before the expansion.

Thanks, Bob. I was thinking maybe it was something that changed in the expansion--I too remembered seeing them pre-expansion.

Anyway, I've answered my own question by finding one today, in act 2 normal.

On a related note, does anyone know how rare portal shrines are in general? I would have guessed they were about equal with Gem shrines, but I've found about a half-dozen gem shrines since I went back to Classic, and only this one Portal shrine.
