SOJs are cheap. I mean, you get like 7k gold for them, so if they could be re-bought, they'd sell for ~ 30-40k. For this reason I think they cannot be bought back, but I would not experiment with my first 10 sojs.

Actually, no. When you sell SoJ's on the realm, they disapear. So even with unlimited funds, this will not work.

Nope. As soon as you sell it to the vendor, they'll sell it to someone else, and you'll never see it again.
