Hi,

I am new to D2 and have trind gambling and always get crap worth 10-25% of what I gambled.

Is there ever anything good to get from gambling? I tried gambling 100 000 gold away and got nothing as good as what I was wearing, I am in the second town.

In 1.11, unmodded, gambling's essentially just something to do with all that extra cash. You'll sometimes pick up useful items from it, but your chances of getting set or unique items are extremely low, and rares haven't been particularly useful in ages.

Generally, jewelry and circlets are your best bets for decent stats.
