30,180 ranking points will likely be the most Conc ever has. Made it this week with 180 points to spare.
Still will do some PvP for rep, but Conc's days of worrying about honor are over. I'm very glad to have that out of the way now so I don't have to worry about how much time I spend in BGs this week.
I still need some rep with AB to get Honored for the crit belt (not much, 800 or so), but the last three weeks have seen some significant DPS gear upgrades for Conc with the PvP boots, gloves, and soon to be bought legs and chest... along with some nice goodies from AV rep and soon the nice AB belt.
I will put a full breakdown of Terenas honor positions and changes here when I get home from work, but I just wanted to give a little boast. I was a little under par for honor gain last week because of Christmas, so I thought I probably wouldn't get it this week, especially with the WSG holiday and the pre-made teams going absolutely nuts on honor... I inspected some people with over 900k honor on the week, I had nearly double my previous highest honor total in a week at 121k, yet just barely cracked my highest ranking points for a week because so many people had so much honor from the WSG holiday + RL holiday combination.
I put in some extra time last week to try to get Rank 8 now instead of a week from now... luckily it paid off, and I am relieved.
I am sorry if I have been a little quiet in guild chat lately, my attention was somewhat distracted. The honor system offers some pretty nice items, but man they are a pain to grind out.

Congratulations!
I've never been in AV. Someday you'll have to take me through. Agh is going >50% on PVP for levelling. I hope to get him as high as you one day.
Here are the current standings.

No, I'm not done with PvP altogether. There's still plenty of rep to be earned with all three BG factions. The WSG ring for honored is nice, and if we want to get organized PvP going, that is a good place to start. Conc got started late on WSG, and barely hit friendly this last week. AB rewards at honored are really nice DPS belts for most classes. and AV rep is always in demand.
I may also, in the future, decide to work honor with another character too. Perhaps the warlock to get a caster experience (warriors get pretty owned by warlocks and mages, in my experience)

More details of Terenas Lurker PvP (including Yuri):
Code: TOTAL RATING
30-Nov 6-Dec 13-Dec 20-Dec 27-Dec 3-Jan
concillian - - - 5906 5315 4789

fazuul 13343 14266 15517 14935 17301 20434
gorohnt - - - 3890 - 6439
tamainelka 10903 - - 7832 7049 6344
Conc 16337 19465 23114 25938 27920 30180

Gorkuk - 9489 - 9121 8209 7388
Rogoll - - - 8797 7919 7125
Agh - - - 5406 11634 16622
and for tracking about how people are doing week to week this is ranking points after taking the penalty into account (AV/AB/WSG/- indicate what holiday was that weekend):
Code: 30-Nov 6-Dec 13-Dec 20-Dec 27-Dec 3-Jan
AV WSG AB - AV WSG
drutar 7273 6259 2396 0 0 0
fazuul 5095 3591 n/a 2521 5353 6593
tamainelka 2934 946 0 0 0 0
Conc 6451 6395 7542 7446 7169 7844
Yuri 5420 5159 4961 0 4800 4488
Gorkuk 912 0
Agh 7309 7314
Rogoll 881 0
The most interesting information in that chart (to me) is that Agh had almost exactly the same rating gain 2 weeks ago and last week despite last week being a WSG weekend. (WSG is all that is available to him as he was <40 for most of those two weeks)
For those unaware of how the system works, you can basically take your weekly average and multiply by 5 to see where you will "top out" as far as rating gain goes. If you want to go higher than 5x your weekly average, you have to spend more time in PvP each week or increase your honor gain per time efficiency to increase your weekly rating average.
You can see how I kicked up my activity for the last 4 weeks so I could accelerate my rank up to legionnaire, this shaved 3-4 weeks from my timeline to Rank 8. I could continue on at this pace and get 9 or maybe even 10 if I really pushed it, but I don't want to, plus the rewards at those levels aren't worth it.
In general it will take ~10-12 weeks of consistent play to reach your max rating level

1. Possibly the following info will help us understand Agh's ratings being the same in spite of one being a WSG weekend.
a) Week one was his 1st ever in PVP.
B) In week one he had significantly more kills, more flag carries, and probably fewer deaths. This is because for much of WSG weekend he was level 40--the bottom of the totem pole, and couldn't do much. In fact, I wasn't even going to play him in PVP more than once a day during level 40--43, but I couldn't pass up WSG.
c) I don't recall the alliance winning a single game in the 30s; more games were played, and they tended to be shorter. They rarely even captured the flag. But in the 40s the alliance did win games; many games were prolonged affairs.
2. How do you post the data in chart form on the forum?

I'm not much help when it comes to the Honor system in WoW, but as far as the chart question goes, include the chart in the code brackets.
[* code *]
Chart Data
[*/code *]
Normally the font used on the forum is a variable (spaced) font. But when text is contained in a code block, it uses a fixed (spacing) font. In other words, each character takes up the exact same space as every other character, so everything lines up. Below are two examples
Variable Font
Quote:This is the difference
between the two types of
font spacing
Fixed Font
Code: This is the difference
between the two types of
font spacing
Notice how the letters don't line up the same way in the variable font?
As far as making a chart, the easiest way to make a chart is to use Notepad which uses a fixed font. Don't bother trying to do it in the lurkerlounge preview window, since in preview it always displays a variable font, and you'll drive yourself bonkers by the end of it.
Hope it helps,
Cheers,
Munk

Congratulations! That's great. Good gear at Legionaire. In Fazuul's quest for Exalted status in AV..I expect a by-product will be at least Rank 8 for him. Hopefully we can spend some time together in AV. :D
