Revival of the River Thames frost fairs?

I saw that reminiscent of stories from my childhood, skaters are present in the canals in Amsterdam. How long will it be before we again have the frost fairs on the River Thames?

Right now? It's bloody cold in London, and I'm going back tomorrow night. It's a scary day when Edmonton is warmer than London.

Here in Graz we've been having only a few days of notably low temps, around -15°C. Of course, for the Christmas holidays it was +10 and rain, as usual <_<.

It's however always interesting how people (drivers) seem to get taken by surprise by 10cm of snow in December here (happens EVERY year). We also have certain newspapers that translate that into "Snow Chaos! The world is ending in frost!".

Anyway: Hurray for warm and dead-sexy long underpants!
