I just remembered this, it happened last week. I was doing De Seis in normal, luring his minions away one at a time and whacking them away from him and his aura. His aura changed, as auras used to do. I believe it changed to might. But I didn't go to town or leave the map, just ran from lord de sei's seal to halfway to the infector's.
I thought this bug was fixed a few patches ago; but regardless, it's in 1.10
