Not only is it old but it doesn't mention the best and safest mithril spot in the game and if people don't know that is Charred Vale then well, now you do.
1K Needles is an excellent source of copper, tin, and iron, though I don't bother wasting time going to the flats, I stay on the southern side of the road and since I've mapped pretty much all the nodes with gatherer over time (I've never gotten data for it, all that I have is from nodes I have mined) I know which pillars to run around and which ones not to.
But again as mentioned this is more of a guide on how you can get your mount at 40 than how you can make gold. :)
