Here are some tips on completing the stink-bomb quest as a Horde. The key problem for Horde is that you can't set off the stink bombs while in combat, so here are some ways to get around that problem:

1. First, remove your gear before attempting this quest. There's no way around the fact that you're going to die multiple times and some of those times you will be killed by NPC's.

2. If you're level 60, it's pretty straightforward to do this quest, because there are plenty of places in town where you can walk into and/or rez without aggroing guards. I personally got my stink bombs off by approaching the town from the southeast, dodging Southshore guards the whole time, and entering Southshore along the south side of the inn. You have to set the bombs off near the main road or square, which is a pain, but as you can see in my screenshots above, you don't have to quite be out in the main open area to do it.

3. At level 60, if worse comes to worst, you rez, set off one stink bomb, die to alliance, and corpse run. Repeat three times.

However, on my level 41 alt, things were much more difficult, because at that level, you aggro Southshore guards immediately almost anywhere in town and can't set off your stink bombs. However, there are still things you can do:

4. Use invisibility potions. Potions of Lesser Invisibility are cheap to make and my character happened to be an alchemist, so to get past Southshore's outer defences, I used a potion of Lesser Invisibility to run past the guards and toss out my first stink bomb in town (and died immediately afterwards). There are several places in town where you can rez safely -- in the town hall and upstairs in the inn come to mind -- so you can rez, drink another invisibility potion, run to the main square, and set off another stink bomb. Unfortunately, invisibility potions have 10 minute cooldown timers, so this is a slow method.

5. Even better, however, is to group up. A group my level 41 alt ended up joining figured out something intriguing -- you get quest credit for anyone in your party who manages to set off stink bombs. Also, if the guards are aggroed on one person, they won't aggro on others who rez until the first person dies. So, ideally, you have a four person team. One person rezes first and then the other three immediately rez and throw their stink bombs. All four people die, but they all get credit for throwing three stink bombs.

6. A guildmate figured out that the entrance hallway of the inn is out of line of sight of any guards and yet you can throw stink bombs into the street from there. That seems like the obvious place to try as long as no Alliance hunters in the area figure that out and place any freeze traps there.

In comparison, the egg quest is easy. Rez by the kegs and click fast on the top keg. Make sure that you have fast quest text scrolling selected in your interface options.
