The DR = Zero feature requires Tactical adjustments. Using a merc and even modest crowd control, like terrain, to channel the enemy, and using Howl/Shout warcries, not to mention Warcry's stun, let's you get in that whack. It would tend, to put many beasties into Hit recovery if they weren't smashed into goo first.
