Don't forget that you have to pay for journeyman and expert too. That was certainly fun - trying to save up for all my mid-level skills and all my tradeskills upgrades and new blueprints. Great way to to really hurt those of us who start the tradeskills early. I don't know if you now have to pay for apprentice level though. I haven't checked with my newest character who hasn't chosen any profession yet.

Edit: Yep, apprentice you have to pay for too, but it's only 10c and 10c really isn't much to a level 5 character. Journeyman is 5 silver, Expert is 50 silver, and the artisan (as stated above) is the 5 gold.

Edit Again: Secondary skills cost 1 silver for Apprentice, not the 10 copper like the primary professions.
