Three mobs I could see but not three groups of mobs (I'm thinking this is at least 9 mobs)? As it stands now the warrior has even more options for managing group aggro provided the casters manage their spells than before where they were taunt bots. Get 3 mobs? Use berserker stance and cleave to generate hate on all three. Sure you take more damage but in a group setting you'll have a healer to take care of that. Sunder Armor and heroic strike are great at generating hate if you have good gear. Lets also not forget the judicious use of mocking blow and the aoe shout to gain aggro. Hell even demoralizing shout is useful for getting aggro.

The reason he was pulling three groups was because the Warlock talent was broken, not that taunt was broken. He would round up three groups of 5 (15 total mobs) and it was pretty dangerous and difficult to keep his health up until the Warlocks (we had a pair), let loose with Rain of Fire and with their talent, stunned every mob in the AoE. Taunt wasn't the problem, it was the talent that made Rain of Fire proc nearly 100% for stunning the mobs, he just stayed in the middle of it taunting incase one of the mobs broke free (and even that didn't save the Warlocks on occasion).
