MS wont support IE security except on XP

They can't do that for long. Not too long ago, they extended support for Windows 98. With so many computers still running that, it will cause MS to look really bad when the next security exploit comes along (in 5 seconds)
And yes, IE is an awful program. If it weren't for those bad website designers that make IE only pages. And no, you do not need to spend extra time to make websites compatible with other browsers if you actualy knew how to properly write one!!
