An interesting little article, just full of a few surprises. I found it interesting (though hardly surprising) that Bush would attempt to use the Iraqi soccer team in such a way, considering the general global sentiments his administration (and, let's be honest, the man himself) have stirred up in the last few years.
What I really found interesting, though, was this:
Let me get this straight. I feel so strongly for this cause, I would gladly be fighting and dying to combat the evil americans -- if only these silly olympics and this damned soccer tournament weren't at the same time.
