What has he done to intetionally harm any Americans?
Chairman Mao came into power years after WWI, and the only nation to have engaged in military combat with China was Japan. During the later part of WWII, Japan was at war with the US. By assosiation, US was an ally of China, fighting against a common threat. (Although a far greater threat to China than the US)
Am I missing something here?
