Ablative heat shields. Just like on any reentry vehicle, including the MIRVs on top of most of the ICBMs dating back to the 60's.
if terrorists have nuclear stockpiles in the first place, how come they a) havent used them, and b ) haven't been caught at border entries with them?
Your argument is, then, that since terrorists haven't had nuclear weapons in the past (and, probably present), then they'll never have them in the future? I don't think you need me to point out the fallacy in that argument :)
