A pity that so much software piracy (and the over-priced retail system) indirectly results in enough co. paranoia to seriously risk damage to consumer hardware (and, indeed, the consumers themselves). Blizzard is, of course, not the only co. with this problem.

You'd think (two!) cd-keys would be enough, but they also want you to have the cd in every time, which can easily be circumvented with a cd-emulator (of which I haven't heard are "illegal" on any DII forum).

I think CloneCD has been shut down due to legal issues.

I wish b.net just changed to pay service (and you could buy DII online), so you wouldn't need the cd in (because warezing online accounts I haven't heard of?).
