Not sure what to do to fix this but it maybe that your CD(s) is damaged in some way (although in theory it should bomb on install as CDs have error detection built in). However just to test that your CDs read 'OK' on your system you can try obtaining the free 'cdspeed' program here.
Using this software you can perform a "CD-quality test".
If errors show up (in significant amount .. 100-200+) it is likely you have media problem with your CDs.
If not you can probably safely eliminate this as a possiblity.
The other possibility is that for some reason D2C is not compatible with your system anymore.
From your previous posts I gather that you also have LOD. In that case try to upgrade to LOD and see if the problem goes away.
If so it points at some compatibility issue in your system.
