Planescape Torment is one of the best games I have ever played. It trounces the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale games in my opinion. It's also one of the few games I have played where graphics and audio have been close to perfect. They do so much for the atmosphere that it's unbelievable. I've never played a game that manages to be so beautiful and so ugly at the same time. What people keep mentioning in this thread is the interraction between party characters in BG2. That is what made Planescape Torment so incredible, and it really is something to behold. Truly an intellectual game.
