So, as we have a far right party that looks to continue its policy of austerity by taking away healthcare from millions of poor and working class Americans (many of which are women, children, and disabled), we have one of its most prominent members hospitalized for a blood clot treatment that he and his party would undoubtedly want to deny for any and everyone else (or at least, financially ruin them if not deny them entirely) - that is now, interestingly enough, putting the bill in jeopardy.

McConnell is doing everything in his power to keep the underlying nature of the bill under wraps, but I think its too late. The treachery of this bill becomes more well known and unpopular by the second, and it is already an extremely unpopular bill to begin with - with many constituents threatening to not re-elect their senators come half time should they pass the bill. Most people realize this bill is just another big tax cut for the capitalist class. It's further ironic that they have basically complete control the state and STILL will not likely get this passed.

"Your very ideas are but the outgrowth of conditions of your bourgeois production and bourgeois property, just as your jurisprudence is but the will of your class, made into law for all, a will whose essential character and direction are determined by the economic conditions of the existence of your class." - Marx (addressing the bourgeois)
