There's some really good stuff on TV for a while now, but I haven't watched it in the traditional way.
Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones, (early to mid seasons) Madmen, etc etc. All enjoyable to me. But for the most part, I've watched them either on DVD, or friend's house by Netflix.
If it was only me in the house, I would unsubscribe to cable TV, and maybe just buy an aerial antennae. And bump up my innernets to broadband unlimited.
I still would buy\play offline vid games, but in general I found the innernets has replaced a lot of what cable tv used to offer. Hell, 'Arrested Development' got a revival on Netflix. Things are definitely a changing.
