What about Amp? Amp does not increase in damage per level, merely duration and radius. With merely +3 skills and 1 point you get level 4 amp.  That's good enough.  Why waste any more skill points?

WRONG!!! +3 skills? How the hell are you going to get that? Gamble untill you run out of gold? I suppose it is possible to get a currect wand, but a major point of Single Player is that

You cannot expect to have anygiven item at any given time. You must judge each skill based solely on how many points you are willing to spend on it. Amp damage only helps physical damage. It helps only my Skeletons. It does nothing for Poison Nova, Bone Spear, Bone Spirit, Magi, Fire Golem.
