I am an
ADULT MALE
father, and my young son has many friends in our neighbourhood. We have a pool and we enjoy it very much, but my son has a lot more fun with our pool when his friends can come over and swim in it, so he'll go out
LOOKING FOR
some of the neighbour kids that can swim with him in our pool. Swimming with dad just isn't fun
I don't mind neighbourhood kids swimming in our pool - it's there to be enjoyed. They always have a great time, and it's fun to watch the kids play. I do have a few rules though -
YOUNG GIRLS
and boys have to know how to swim, stay entirely in the shallow end, wear a life jacket, or have their parents watch them while in our pool. I take pool safety very seriously.
I also do not allow street clothes in my pool. Stray threads from cutoff jeans and junk in kids' pockets mess up my pool filter. The kids must be
IN BATHING SUITS
to swim in our pool, and have their own towels. I just don't have enough towels for everyone!
